Opening hours
January : from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 to 5 p.m., only on Saturdays and Sundays
February - March : from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 to 5 p.m. every day except Tuesday
April - May : from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 to 6 p.m. every day except Tuesday
June - July - August : from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 to 6.30 p.m. every day
September - October : from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 to 6 p.m. every day except Tuesday
November - December : from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 to 5 p.m., only on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays (1st and 11th November)
⌛ No admittance more than thirty minutes before closing time.
✅ Exceptional opening : 1st and 11th November

The shop
La Bâtie d’Urfé has a shop offering a wide range of products, including a selection of books about history and heritage, novels, books for young people, local products (food and other kinds), postcards, etc.
The shop is open while the site is open to the public.
Where to eat
The “L’Essentiel" restaurant has a large room indoors and a terrace. In between a walk in the gardens and your guided tour of the château, make the most of the setting to have lunch or a gourmet snack.
